Virginia recovery programs

Keep your people focused on care.

The non-clinical side of a recovery program, organized around one operator and an AI system. Clinicians treat. Owners decide. I work on the operations.

Built around your reality

The owner’s desk should not be every desk.

For an owner of a Virginia DBHDS 2.1 or 2.5 program: one or two locations, a small staff, and too much administration landing on the owner’s desk.

Target program profile · AI Operations Framework, section 2 · October 2026

Most new programs are in-network with two or three of the five Virginia Medicaid plans. Every plan you are missing is a referral you cannot take. Mapping those gaps and working each application is the first thing I do.

What I already built for a program like yours

Working examples. Clear boundaries.

Built

A compliance & authorization engine

Selected authorization clocks, chart checks, note review, revenue rules and payer profiles run on synthetic data. Export discovery and adapter mapping come before any EHR connection. Demonstration on a call; no patient-data readiness claim.

Payer profiles

Profiles for five Virginia Medicaid managed-care plans, plus fee-for-service. Each field carries its evidence and limits.

Payer seed: five MCO profiles plus FFS · Oct 2026
Built

DBHDS readiness checklist

A checklist for organizing requirements and evidence: 135 items across 19 sections. It supports preparation; it does not guarantee an inspection result.

Built

A cited library and resource hub

112 cited requirement records, with source locations and verification labels. A resource hub delivered for program education and lookup.

Demonstrations use synthetic data and are shown on a call. No live EHR integration, complete coverage or patient-data readiness is implied.

The working rules

Clinical decisions stay clinical.

People stay in charge. Clinicians sign notes. Owners sign filings. People press Send. The AI drafts, checks, reminds and reports.

No client record touches an AI tool without the agreements that protect it, including a BAA and applicable Part 2 agreement.

Until those safeguards are in place, demonstrations use synthetic data.

No diagnosis, level-of-care decisions or ASAM scoring by AI. Licensed clinicians keep clinical decisions.

No promised authorization, payment, audit outcome or measured customer result.

Before the conversation

Questions from program owners.

Does AI make clinical decisions?

No. Clinicians retain diagnosis, medical necessity, level-of-care decisions and signatures.

Can I see the existing work?

I can show a local synthetic-data demonstration on a call. No public patient-data demo is offered.

Will it connect to my EHR?

I begin with export discovery and adapter mapping. Vendor access, contracts and data completeness must be checked first.
